The Law of Forgiveness -- An Affirmation
More than a year ago I was the beneficiary of some distance healing after which the healer suggested it would be helpful to say “I AM the Law of Forgiveness for Myself and All Mankind, for All Mistakes, Misqualified Energy, and for Straying from the Light” three times. As I affirmed I was to see and feel the most powerful Violet Transmuting Flame blazing in, through and around my four Lower Bodies, and throughout my environment. I was encouraged to do this often, and I still to continue to do this twice each day. I have decided to explore the wording further.
To be the Law of Forgiveness for all mankind is a noble and challenging end. It requires a deep understanding of the concept of forgiveness, a commitment to embody it in one's own life, and a dedication to sharing it with others. Here are some steps you can take as you try to become a living embodiment of the Law of Forgiveness:
The first step to being the Law of Forgiveness is to cultivate a forgiving mind-set within oneself. This involves recognizing that everyone makes mistakes, and that holding on to anger and resentment only harms yourself. By practicing self-compassion and forgiving yourself for past mistakes, you can begin to develop a more forgiving attitude toward others.
To truly embody the Law of Forgiveness, it is essential to have a deep understanding of what forgiveness entails. Forgiveness is not about condoning or excusing someone's actions, but rather about releasing the negative emotions associated with those actions and choosing to move forward with love and compassion. It is a process that takes time and may require the support of a counsellor, therapist, or spiritual guide.
Once you have cultivated a forgiving mind-set and gained a deeper understanding of forgiveness, it is time to practise it in your daily life. This can involve forgiving others for their mistakes, as well as forgiving yourself for your own shortcomings. It is essential to practise forgiveness regularly, even when it feels challenging or uncomfortable.
As you become more skilled at embodying the Law of Forgiveness, you may feel called to share this message with others. This can be done through various means, such as teaching workshops, writing articles or books, or simply sharing your experiences with friends and family. By spreading the message of forgiveness, you can help to create a more compassionate and loving world for all.
Becoming the Law of Forgiveness for all mankind is not an easy task, and there will be challenges along the way. It is essential to embrace these challenges and use them as opportunities for growth and learning. By remaining committed to the practice of forgiveness, you can continue to deepen your understanding of this powerful concept and inspire others to do the same.
In the realm of spirituality, misqualified energy refers to life force or consciousness that has been diverted from its original, pure, and divine purpose. It is energy that has been tainted by negative thoughts, emotions, or intentions, such as anger, fear, greed, or jealousy, which creates imbalance and disharmony within an individual or environment. This misqualification occurs when energy is used in ways that are out of alignment with universal laws of love, harmony, and light. Instead of being directed toward constructive and positive ends, it is often wasted or used destructively, leading to personal suffering, spiritual stagnation, or even harm to others.
From a spiritual perspective, the misqualification of energy can create blockages in one's aura, chakras, or consciousness, attracting further negativity and limiting access to higher states of awareness. The process of spiritual growth often involves recognizing and transforming this misqualified energy, restoring it to its pure state through practices like forgiveness, self-reflection, and alignment with divine principles. By doing so, individuals can reclaim their energy and direct it toward the cultivation of love, wisdom, and higher consciousness.
The term "misqualified energy" is rooted in esoteric spirituality and metaphysical traditions, particularly within systems like Kundalini Yoga, New Thought, and Energy Healing philosophies. It refers to the idea that spiritual energy (often called prana, chi, or kundalini) can become corrupted, distorted, or "disqualified" from its intended higher evolutionary purpose due to human thought, emotion, or action. Unlike "blocked energy," which focuses on physical or emotional stagnation, misqualified energy specifically addresses how energy is imprinted with negative or limiting qualities, altering its vibrational frequency and purpose.
Misqualified energy arises when spiritual energy, which naturally flows toward growth, healing, and alignment with universal truth, is consciously or unconsciously reprogrammed by the ego, fear, or attachment to material desires. This process "disqualifies" the energy from its pure spiritual function and redirects it toward self-serving goals, creating a dissonance between the individual and the divine.
Causes of Misqualified Energy
Egoic Distortion: When individuals use spiritual gifts (e.g., intuition, healing abilities, or emotional sensitivity) to manipulate others, gain power, or avoid personal growth, they imbue their energy with selfish intent, misqualifying it.
Unhealed Trauma: Repressed emotions like anger, shame, or betrayal can contaminate energy, turning it inward or outward in destructive cycles.
Attachment to Materialism: Focusing excessively on wealth, possessions, or physical pleasures without spiritual alignment can "weigh down" energy, stripping it of its higher-purpose vibration.
Suppressive Beliefs: Beliefs such as "I am unworthy of love" or "Spirit guides are fake" can pollute the energy field, creating energetic "noise" that blocks harmony with the divine.
Effects of Misqualified Energy
Physical: Chronic fatigue, unexplained pain, or recurring illnesses due to a misaligned life force.
Emotional: Feelings of separation, chronic anxiety, or a sense of "being stuck" despite effort.
Mental: Overthinking, self-doubt, or a disconnect from inner wisdom.
Spiritual: A diminished sense of connection to higher purpose, blocked intuition, or a "thinning line" where the divine spark in others is no longer recognized.
Healing and Requalification
Self-Awareness: Recognizing patterns of thought or behaviour that misalign energy is the first step. Practices like journaling, meditation, or therapy help identify these distortions.
Energy Healing: Techniques such as Yoga, Reiki, or breathwork can realign energy with higher intent.
Surrender and Surrender-Based Practices: Letting go of control and allowing the divine to "re-qualify" energy through prayer, mantra, or guided spiritual practices.
Ethical Living: Aligning daily actions with spiritual values (e.g., compassion, honesty, humility) prevents the re-misqualification of energy.
Misqualified energy is a reminder that spiritual growth is not just about receiving energy but managing it with integrity. By addressing the root causes of distortion -- ego, fear, and disconnection -- we can realign our energy with the universal flow of love, truth, and service. This process is not about perfection but persistent inner work, leading to a life that not only resonates harmoniously with the divine but embodies it.
The phrase "straying from the light" as a spiritual concept carries deep symbolic and metaphorical significance across various religious, philosophical, and mystical traditions. At its core, it represents the soul's departure from divine truth, moral integrity, inner wisdom, or spiritual awareness, moving instead toward ignorance, ego-driven desires, or separation from the sacred. The "light" is commonly understood as a representation of God, universal consciousness, enlightenment, or the higher self, a source of guidance, purity, and truth. To "stray from the light" is to lose one's connection to this higher source, often through distraction, temptation, illusion (maya), or choices that prioritize material gain, ego gratification, or fear over love, compassion, and spiritual principles.
In many spiritual teachings, this phrase is closely tied to the idea of free will. Human beings are seen as luminous beings endowed with the capacity to choose their path. While the light beckons with peace, clarity, and unity, the allure of the shadows -- the realm of doubt, selfishness, and separation -- can be strong. Straying may manifest as losing one's moral compass, neglecting prayer or meditation, ignoring inner stillness, or succumbing to negative patterns such as greed, anger, or denial. It is not always a dramatic fall, but often a gradual drifting, a slow erosion of awareness and intentionality.
Yet, spiritual traditions universally emphasize that straying is not permanent damnation or final defeat. The light remains ever-present, gently calling the soul back through conscience, moments of grace, suffering that prompts reflection, or encounters with wisdom teachings. This concept is evident in the parable of the Prodigal Son in Christianity, the idea of samsara and moksha in Hinduism, the journey from ignorance to enlightenment in Buddhism, and the Sufi path of returning (ruju?) to the Beloved in Islam. In each, the narrative arc includes falling away, recognizing the loss, and returning with humility and renewed commitment.
Thus, "straying from the light" is not merely a cautionary tale, but also an integral part of the soul's journey. The experience of distance can deepen one's appreciation for the light, foster compassion for others who wander, and lead to a more conscious and heartfelt return. In this sense, even the act of straying can become a sacred detour, a necessary phase in the evolution of the spirit toward greater wholeness, self-knowledge, and union with the divine.
By visualising the electrifying essence of the Violet Transmuting Flame surging with divine potency, a radiant energy transcends the boundaries of the physical, emotional, mental, and etheric realms, the four Lower Bodies of your being. This flame is not merely a visual phenomenon; it is a force of purification and ascension, infused with the sacred frequency of violet light, vibrating at a pitch so lofty it resonates in your bones and beyond.
In the Physical Body observe how the Violet Flame pierces through every cell, igniting impurities and blockages with its incandescent touch. Tissues, organs, and bones shimmer as if bathed in a cosmic forge. Toxins dissolve into vapour, while stagnant energy transforms into spirals of violet brilliance, ascending like smoke into the ether. Your physical form becomes a translucent vessel, glowing with the light of higher alignment, muscles and bloodstreams pulsating with the rhythm of celestial fire.
In the Emotional Body see the flame weaving through the astral layers, where it confronts fears, wounds, and karmic imprints. Emotional shadows, once dense and clinging, dissolve like fog under the midday sun. The Violet Flame purges negativity, transmuting pain into radiant wisdom. Where fear resided, there is now compassion; where grief lingered, there is now peace. You feel unburdened, your emotional centre harmonized with the harmonics of divine love.
In the Mental Body witness the flame’s effect on the mind, dissolving limiting beliefs and erroneous thought patterns. Mental static -- clutter, doubt, and confusion -- burns away, replaced by crystalline clarity. Your thoughts now shimmer with violet fire, each idea a spark of higher intelligence. The flame sharpens your intuition, illuminating inner truths and aligning your conscious mind with the infinite. You feel a surge of creative power, as the Violet Flame rewires your mental framework to resonate with spiritual mastery.
In the Etheric (Causal) Body the flame activates your blueprint of potential, igniting dormant spiritual codes and awakening past-life memories. The causal body, the bridge between matter and spirit, radiates with a pulsating violet glow, synchronizing your soul’s purpose with the present. You feel a deepening connection to your divine lineage, as the flame transmutes lower vibrations into the luminous frequencies of your true self.
Throughout your environment the Violet Flame spreads beyond your aura, permeating the space around you. Walls, objects, and the air itself tremble with its sacred resonance. Negative energies, stagnant auras, and discordant vibrations in your surroundings dissolve, replaced by a cocoon of violet light. Nature responds -- the ground beneath you hums, plants sway as if in reverence, and even the weather shifts to mirror the harmony you exhale. Your presence becomes a beacon, radiating healing and transmutation to all who cross your path.
As this flame continues to blaze, you become a conduit of divine transformation. The Violet Transmuting Flame is no longer external -- it is you, and you are it: a sovereign being of alchemical fire, reshaping yourself and the world with the power of ascended love.
Thus this affirmation offers not just absolution, but opens up a pathway toward healing, self-compassion, and a renewed commitment to living in alignment with our truest potential.
